1st Customer Review : Works well, but beware of annoying "click" sound
Efficiently heats our small 2nd bedroom, but does so at the cost of a fairly loud "click" whenever the thermostat activates/deactivates. The click is loud enough to hear from another bedroom, and tends to wake up our 6 month old baby if he's not in deep sleep. Otherwise, the timer feature and heating power are very good, but you need to be aware of how loud that click is during an otherwise silent night. If they'd fix that annoyance, I'd give this 5 stars.

2nd Customer Review : Does what it says... I love it!!!
The DeLonghi EW7507EB is my first radiant heater.
I originally intended to buy the TRD0715T, however when I went to the store to look at it, my wife and I agreed the big red dial for the timer coupled with the weird off white color was simply too gaudy and not condusive to our room's design, not to mention this is 2011 - hello? who still uses analog gauges??? I then figured a Digital interface for the heater would certainly make the looks far better. I again did my homework and found this heater (EW7505EB) and the Honeywell version (HWLHZ709). On the Target website, the Honeywell version had 2.5 stars after 51 reviews and many indicated serious issues. That left me with one choice - the DeLonghi EW7507EB...
I did find one at Lowe's and noticed it had an additional L at the end of the part number (EW7507EBL) but realized it meant it was for Lowe's version. When I researched this unit on Lowes.com - I found that 10 out of 11 gave it 5 out of 5 stars and one person gave it...
3rd Customer Review : Very Happy
I have tried a number of supplimental heaters in the geust room of our older home in Seattle and this has been by far the best. It has no problems heating this 140 sq ft room with a large window on the medium power setting. Things I particularly like about this unit are a) Multiple power settings - 690W, 780W, 1440W by my meter. Far better than other units which have off and on at ~1500W and therefor should really be the only appliance on a circuit or you risk flipping a breaker or worse. b) Digital Thermostat - You can set the unit to within 1 degree of the tempurature you want. Far better than other units I've tried which either have some funky 'temperature' dial or a thermostat in 5 degree increments. Also the thermostat chooses the best power setting (up to the maximum you have set) for a more even heat (less overshooting and undershooting your selected temperature). c) No Fan - This means it heats up the room more slowly but it's completely silent. e) Time Programable -...

1st Customer Review : Great Heater, a little loud, but good for white noise at night. NOT like a personal hair dryer as a reviewer said :)
I live in South Dakota, and for those of you who don't know- it can get VERY COLD here. Right now we're having a little "arctic blast" as the weather service calls it and our high temp today was -1 degrees Farenheit, with wind chills 30-40 below. We have a nice, but older 1960's home with old insulation and windows, plus hardwood floors which makes it harder to keep the rooms warm. This heater is a new model for Delonghi, so there weren't any reviews out there when I bought it so I took a chance on it, and I'm glad I did. It kicks out alot of heat, has a programmable thermostat, and has the option of oscillating which spreads the heat around quite well. As far as the loudness goes, yes it is a bit loud for some people, but certainly not even close to a hair dryer!! . But you do get used to it and its great for white noise if you need that to sleep at night. The only thing I dislike about it is that it beeps every time you change a setting, or move it, which is a little annoying...

2nd Customer Review : Works Well For Us!
I have an elderly family member with a lower-circulatory problem and limited mobility, so we needed something to heat localized areas of the house to keep her comfortable. This space heater remote controlled, adjustable thermostat filled the requirements perfectly. Unlike other reviewers, I have no problem with the fan noise -- it's a small unit and has to "blow" the air -- not terribly loud, but noticeable, definitely not a deterrent for us. The added safety feature (turns off when tipped over) works and has saved us from a couple of mishaps (inadvertent bumps with the wheelchair). It works well in relatively small spaces, heats in seconds, and has proven to be very reliable so far. I'm considering one for the home office (for use in the cooler mornings/evenings).
3rd Customer Review : Deafening
Everything about this heater sounds great: 24 hour timer, digital display, remote etc... But there is one drawback I should have noticed that was omitted from the desciption -- The Noise. This tiny heater is about as loud as a personal hair dryer.

A shame it's this loud because it cancels out every other redeeming factor. I returned mine for a refund. 2 stars.

1st Customer Review : A Great Advancement in Radiating Heat
Intro...

Upon researching various types of heaters for the past week, I came to the conclusion that this heater would be a good pick for a bedroom. I ended up purchasing a Lasko heater for the living room and this DeLonghi Mica Panel Heater for the bedroom. The reason I chose this brand over other mica panels is due to my experience with their products in the past. I've owned a DeLonghi Magnifica Espresso machine, which has worked flawlessly for over 4 years along with a DeLonghi Radiator Heater which has worked just as great. If you dont know much about DeLonghi, they are a European-based company that makes quality appliances, specifically utilizing German-engineering.

Overall Thoughts...

Upon testing out this new technology heater, I noticed that it had all of the great features that a radiator heater had. To add to the conventional radiator heater, it also features instant-on heat while maintaining a low-profile size. Due to the thin profile, this...

2nd Customer Review : Pretty cool for a heater
This is our third winter with one of these. We'd originally gotten it with couple of Vornados --- and, in spite of a CR recommendation, we should've skipped the Vornadoes and gotten two of these. THIS thing really, really works well!

We use it in a 200 sq ft bedroom, with the rest of the house left at 63 at night. On the LOW setting this heater can easily push the room to 80 on a 20-degree night.

A control suggestion (to be followed under your own advisement!):
Right from the beginning I used a Lux WIN100 plug-in thermostat. I removed the sensor and attached a 30-foot extension lead to it. The thermostat and heater are positioned on the colder outside wall, with the sensor on a small homemade pedestal on my wife's night table, on the opposite side of the room. Works perfectly. If you have any mechanical/electrical ability, the modification takes about the same time as writing the description. (I've since learned that terrarium-keepers use the same method...
3rd Customer Review : Fantastic heater
I have a small (700 square foot) house with 12 ft ceilings. When we built it this summer we installed two "whisper quiet" 2500 Watt electric wall heaters, which were fine until it got cold and we actually needed to use them. The noises they made at random times during the night woke everyone up periodically throughout the night. We were going nuts.

I bought this DeLonghi heater thinking that it might at least keep the chill off long enough for us to figure out another 5,000 Watt solution to replace our original heaters. I can't really figure it out, but just ONE of these1500 Watt DeLonghi heaters is heating my entire house. It is COMPLETELY silent. I'm using less energy and the house is plenty warm, even when we've had freezing temperatures. I would buy another one I love it so much, but apparently I only need one! I'm thrilled.

Product Features :

• Lightweight and stylish way to heat your room; the sleek, modern design is perfect for any home decor
• Efficient use of space with wall-mountable option Simply remove the feet from the base and mount to any wall; wall mounting kit included
• Customize your heating needs with the adjustable thermostat and two heat settings; choose the high setting for 1500-watt or the low setting for 750-watt
• Safe operation with thermal cut-off, internal tip-over switch and power/caution indicator lights
• Easy to move or transport with the convenient carry handle and castors included

1st Customer Review : We're so convinced, we're ordering another one!
Lovely design. Great heat! Easy to move from place to place. The "new" smell disappears quickly in a few hours via following the directions. (I also used a tiny bit of lavender oil on the top fins - during those hours - to mask the initial unpleasant smell. And I placed it near a window that was ajar.) We haven't used the programming so I can't comment on that (see below for update!). (There was one similar model that lacked the programming feature, but it was not sold by Amazon and required a substantial shipping fee. My advice: Always check the origin and any shipping cost! When given a choice, I prefer Amazon. Second choice is to go through Amazon, if it's not something Amazon carries.)

Back to the heater:

This heats quickly. And it's cute! Easy to store, as this model is particularly slim. I strongly recommend reading the directions so you avoid overtaxing your electric outlets or circuits. Beyond that, this thing will be your "friend" on cold...

2nd Customer Review : Fits my needs
This is a great heater. I like that it creates its own airflow without a fan - the hot air just comes off the top as if there were a fan! I also love the timer function - you can set the heater to be on or off in 15 minute segments all day long. I use this feature to have it warm up my bedroom so it's warm when I arrive home from work, just before bedtime, and also to warm up the room before I wake up, without having the heater run all night (it's a powerful little thing!). The air doesn't get dried out, but it circulates and becomes toasty warm. There is also three output settings (1,2, and 3), so you can really crank it up if you need some heat quickly, but keep it low for everyday use. I'm extremely pleased with this heater.
3rd Customer Review : NOT a family room heater.........
If you've got high ceilings or an area larger than 14x14 and expect this unit to heat, you're going to be disappointed. Also, as the previous review states, the heat rises from the top of the unit, which is about 2 1/2 feet off the ground. If you're prone to "cold feet" this unit is NOT for you.
There is no fan on this unit, so it's perfect for an office, baby's room or bedroom that always seems to be a bit chilly. If you have a large bathroom, this would be great to pre-set the attached 24 hour timer to come on an hour or so before you get up.
So if you want to heat a 12x12 or 12x14 room or smaller this unit will be fine. Just dont expect your legs and feet to be warm.

Product Features :

• 1500 watt oil-filled radiator
• Permanently sealed pure diathermic oil never needs refilling
• High-speed convection design provides hotter air than a typical oil-filled radiator
• Venturi effect allows heated air to rise faster and gain high speed when leaving the narrowed top of the enclosed fins
• Three heat settings and adjustable thermostat

1st Customer Review : Works well, but beware of annoying "click" sound
Efficiently heats our small 2nd bedroom, but does so at the cost of a fairly loud "click" whenever the thermostat activates/deactivates. The click is loud enough to hear from another bedroom, and tends to wake up our 6 month old baby if he's not in deep sleep. Otherwise, the timer feature and heating power are very good, but you need to be aware of how loud that click is during an otherwise silent night. If they'd fix that annoyance, I'd give this 5 stars.

1st Customer Review : Read Before Buying This Fan!
Amazon states that this heater is 25x22x16. It is just over 13 inches tall and about 10 inches in diameter. This fan is about 1/4 the size I thought it would be. I don't know how Amazon came up with the dimensions they advertise.

The grills you see extend more than halfway around the unit. They oscillate in opposite directions, but they do not move far. The base itself does not oscillate, but it does have a step switch which turns the motion on and off.

At the strongest setting, one can barely feel the hot air blowing from the grills. Air only moves from the very center of the grills. I could not tell the difference between the 3 speeds, but when I adjusted the air speed downward, it quit blowing entirely.

Unlike other heaters I've had, the grills get hot enough to burn you if you touch them. I think they would also get hot enough to combust anything too close. I sacrificed a finger to it so that the rest of you won't have too! Interestingly, the sides...

2nd Customer Review : Better sit CLOSE
After 2 day with heater, it is way too small to heat anything too far away. I have to sit right next to it to feel any heat. Better put it on Max also. My unit for some reason the blows heat on the bottom, then cool air on top. Smart if you want a fan and heater at the same time in the winter. Oscillating doesn't do a thing but make small background noise...You think some kind of insect is in you house. Don't waste you money on this one. Return slip is filled out already.
3rd Customer Review : Great little heater for the price
It is smaller than listed, but a great little heater for a bathroom or to knock off the chill in a smaller size room, say about a 10 X 10 ft size. I bought 3 of them and they are great for my intended purpose. With natural gas going up 48% this winter, they will pay for themselves this season alone.

• Twin ceramic heating elements provide fast, efficient heat distribution
• 3 heat settings plus fan setting for summer use or general ventilation

1st Customer Review : Time will tell
Just got this unit. Slim design, good rollers, handy cord storage.
HEAVY UNIT and appears quality made.
I followed the instructions but went a step further when it said to RUN IT ON THE HIGHEST SETTING FOR 2 HOURS in a WELL VENTILATED AREA. I put mine outside and let it run for 2.5 hours......full blast. Glad I did. Even so, when I put it in the basement and turned it on.....there was still a faint odor....not really objectionable.....but like something's burning or is "hot".
I like the handy on / off programmer, but the sliders you push ( like on those lamp timmers) are really tiny and fine. Someone with big fingers might have a dickens of a time trying to move those sliders. The Power cord is a nice length but I wish they would have attached to cord to the rear of the unit rather than the front where the "on" signal light, controls and timer dial sit.
I have a heated lower level on a poured concrete floor... which runs a good 10 degrees colder than the upper...

2nd Customer Review : Good price, solid (basic) oil-filled radiator
The positives:

* No-nonsense oil-filled heater
* Heats up VERY quickly compared to other oil-filled units
* Very affordable
* Solid construction

A few comments:

* There have been a lot of negative comments posted about DeLonghi oil-filled radiators emitting a foul odor when first used. I found this to be only an extremely minor inconvenience. When I first plugged the unit in I noticed a smell for 30-60 minutes, after which time it disappeared. The bottom line is that different people have wildly different sensitivities to various types of odors, and my guess is that people posting the negative comments have higher-than-average sensitivity. Of course, its possible that I have lower-than-average sensitivity, but if the odor was truly as noxious/toxic as some imply, I don't think these units would be commercially successful.

* There have also been complains about the thermostats not being specifically marked with temperature...
3rd Customer Review : Works great
Purchased for a large bathroom with stone floor. Connected to a separate plug in timer so it warms the bathroom before we get up. Works well. It can get quite hot.
Definitely run outside for 2-3 hours fist use to avoid odors mentioned in other review.
Definitely recommend for the price.

Product Features :

• Provides fast and flexible heating whether in the bedroom, living room or office.
• Produces hotter air than a standard oil-filled radiator with its unique design. It allows heated air to rise faster and gain speed.
