This basket is not as deep as the original, so i never used it. It's still in the box it came in.

2nd Customer Review : Cheap Junk
This thing is Junk, I am convinced! the plastic by the handle breaks, every time I have bought several of them and they have all broke. The fryer itself is good except the hose that you release the grease out of, that will crack or split or tear and then it will leak hot grease everywhere. I ended up cutting mine off at the base and pluging that which seems to be working for now, the plastic handle on the basket I just decided to keep it broke and use the basket without it. Very poor design!!

so happy to find a replacement for my deep fryer. wish the basket was a bit deeper, but works just fine!! definitely worth the money
