1st Customer Review : works fabulously
We use it in our son's room. Doesn't get hot to the touch. It's like his own personal furnace. You set it to your desired room temperature and it shuts off and turns on to maintain the temperature. We have a thermometer in his room and it truly maintains the correct temp. Downside is that there are no numbered degrees on the knobs. You just turn it on and when it gets to your desired temperature, then you turn the knob and it will maintain it from there. Love it...bought two!

2nd Customer Review : A keeper
I have a Lasko ceramic tower that is very quiet, so any other space heater I buy is compared to that one. I recently purchased five small space heaters (not at the same time) at Target, Lowes, and Amazon. I wanted a smaller, lightweight heater that was quiet that I could easily move about the house, so I could leave the tower heater in my bedroom. I returned all 5 heaters as they were all loud and got very hot. The one I ordered from Amazon (it was a Lasko and had over a thousand reviews) unfortunately was broken upon arrival. So I don't know if that one was really quiet, but I didn't care for the cheap plastic look of it, so I ordered this one instead. This heater is better looking than the others, the material overall is higher quality. I don't know how to describe plastic, but it doesn't have that really plastic look. It is not as quiet as my Lasko ceramic tower, but for a small space heater this is probably as good as it gets. In a large room the sound would not be too noticeable...
3rd Customer Review : Great little heater!
We have used this for a couple of months and it has worked great so far. I like that it comes in a selection of colors and is fairly quiet. Most DeLonghi products have held up very well for us. We use this heater in a fairly small office and works great!
