1st Customer Review : careful if you need the DRIP TOP
The Krups coffeemaker is terrific, but unfortunately not this replacement carafe.
The replacement carafe was shipped WITHOUT the drip through top. The top provided was simply a plain top to cover or seal the carafe - which would be great to store liquids I suppose, but utterly unusable in the coffee maker. My original carafe had a broken drip top and handle, from being dropped.
Oddly, I had bought a replacement about a year ago for a relative and received a new Krups carafe complete with appropriate drip top, which was perfect. But things apparently change and I will need to look for another coffee maker.
So, if you just need the carafe body and your drip through top is in great shape, you will do fine. If you need the top too - this item is not for you....

Another well constructed and beautiful product from Krups! I accidentially broke one of my carafe's and needed a replacement, when I received this I was far from disappointed.
