1st Customer Review : Solid product!
I have found over the years, that one must be very careful when reading the product reviews on any site. Quite often, I run across bitter, angry reviews from people who clearly either did not read instructions or do not understand the product they own. You need to read between the lines sometimes.
Someone complained that it is harder to clean than the beater that comes with the machine. Of course it is. There's a flap of flexible plastic attached to the bottom of the beater, which is what makes it scrape the bowl! You can pretty much tell by looking at it that this is a place where food will collect and you WILL, therefore, have to clean it. When washing this by hand, that DOES take an extra 5 seconds. When scraping it over the mixing bowl, I use a rubber spatula and run it along the edge. Simple and quick. Not sure what all the complaining is about.
Someone complained that near the end of chocolate chip cookie mixing (even after the chips were added), the dough...

2nd Customer Review : Fall in love with your mixer again
Wow, this new Beater Blade is fabulous! I have a 5.5 qt Cuisinart stand mixer, and with a little adjustment the blade works perfectly. No more little blob of unmixed dough on the bottom, the sides are wiped clean and ingredients mixed in well. Stopping often to scrape the sides/bottom down are now a thing of the past. It's fantastic!
3rd Customer Review : Great Accessory
I have used this a few times now, making several batches of cookies and I am VERY pleased with it's performance. Without it I had to stop and scrape the bowl periodically which I found to be a pain; however with this gem I don't scape at all! It was very easy to adjust to the machine(Cuisinart)following the instructions. Dishwasher safe too! I can't speak to its' durability as I haven't had it too long.
